Above all, having spoken to Jim on the phone from Australia on the odd occasion, I feel happy for him to take digs at me as I know it is done in the context of Brotherly Love and Respect.. but that does not mean he cant have a joke on me :) I am sure we wont take it too far.. we want to keep the mutual gifts flowing..     <summary type="html">It depends on what forms the organizations files.  I there are different types of non profit organizations and some are tax deductable and some not.  Giving money to your lodge or grand lodge may not be but giving it to the charity fund of that organzation may be.  It is best to have a reciept but you can claim a ceratin amount of cash givings every year also.&#xD;

I only know this because I have a guy who does my taxes and I went to a Masonic Law seminar that coverd some of it.  I am not an expert I just pretend to be one online.</summary>
