I there are different types of non profit organizations and some are tax deductable and some not. Giving money to your lodge or grand lodge may not be but giving it to the charity fund of that organzation may be. It is best to have a reciept but you can claim a ceratin amount of cash givings every year also. I only know this because I have a guy who does my taxes and I went to a Masonic Law seminar that coverd some of it. I am not an expert I just pretend to be one online.
