How many lodges do a special degree that youa re aware of? Either near you or in another jurisdiction?
For instance I attended a special Communication of Nickel Plate Night at a lodge outside my jurisdiction this past weekend.
I'm an avid model railroader and I'd heard thru some folks that a lodge in Ohio that used to be a huge railroad town was still holding an annual Railroading night I got more info on it. I drummed up some interest in my lodge and we took two car loads of brothers out to see it. A very interesting afternoon touring the local railroad museum staffed by members of their lodge and open specially for us and then attending the degree which while it had a Railroading theme was not perverted beyond recognition for any regular Mason.
So anyone else know of a lodge that does something like this?

Not our Lodge. But there is "Demonstration Teams" here for the Massachusetts work (I have passed the third degree in it) and another which I think is New York.
You don't know this - but Victoria actually had a English Constitution Lodge which did not join UGVL when it was formed (or left after - cant remember). Being in amity with UGLE we can visit - and must do that one day ..
We also have a Study group which studies Dutch and also Older Rituals - they meet at Gipps St -but again although I know members I have never been..
