I made my first trip to the local lodge last night.
I met the Lodge Master and many others. Everyone was friendly and joking much like I remember my father joking with his buddies way back when.
I turned in my petition, the Lodge Master assigned me Mentor, and then they were getting ready to hold their regular lodge meeting so went on home.
Overall, was a nice experience.

Fri, July 6, 2007 - 8:09 AMAwesome! You should show up and chat with them whenever you can. Every Thursday at my lodge we have food and drinks and then a practice. Depending on what we practice, people are more than welcome to come and watch. Mostly, it's a good opportunity for Apprentices and Fellowcrafts to check things out and meet people =-)
