I find Lodges of Research throughout international jurisdictions can be a great source of interesting information and Trivia.
Who would have thought that Freemasonry had a GL in Japan and the first Japanese Candidate was Initiated in 1864 ! There is an interesting article surrounding this Initiation at www2.gol.com/users/lodge...nston04.html and other historical information on Masonry in Japan at
www2.gol.com/users/lodge...ory-idx.html
It all goes to Show that Freemasonry has played a part in many unexpected countries for centuries..
Does anyone else know particularly good Lodges of Research internet sites ???
