Last night I finally got my petition from one of the men I know in the local lodge. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. Even though I haven't met other people of the lodge yet, I still feel really good about my decision. I guess the next step will be my interview if they vote to accept me. Any words of wisdom from anyone?

Thu, September 6, 2007 - 10:14 AMI wouldn't say several but a few anyway. Depends on the lodge and the jurisdiciton(state) and how fast they can run things. We ahd one brother that took 2 years to schedule. We've had brothers that were done within 5 months from recieving the petition to raising him on the third.
It takes time and is worth it.
